Chaves
Chaves is a city in the north of Portugal. With origins in the Roman civitas Aquæ Flaviæ, given to it by the Emperor Vespasian, who recognised the excellent quality of the thermal springs located here.
Standing on the banks of the River Tâmega and close to the border with Spain, Chaves has always been very important from the military and strategic point of view. Remaining as a testimony to the city´s defensive importance are the castle and its keep, as well as the mediaeval quarter contained within the city walls.
Chaves is also famous for its richly varied cuisine, and particularly for its sausages and smoked ham.
The Region
Vila Real is a district of northern Portugal located east of the port city of Porto and north of the Douro River.
Programme
The program of the XII International Meeting will allow you to see historic cities, breathtaking landscapes while riding a motorcycle in the Douro River Valley, visit a wine cellar, taste the local cuisine and see many friends again or meet new people who share the same passion.
Packages
There are two types of PACK with different costs. The FULL version and the SMALL version. The first includes all activities from Friday to Sunday, while the second includes those from Saturday to Sunday.

Guided Tour
For participants arriving on Friday there will be the possibility of a guided tour of the city of Chaves with professional guides.
